Time For Some White House Touch-Ups

With the President and the First Family out of town on vacation in Martha’s Vineyard, it’s a great opportunity to make some long-needed repairs at the White House.

FOX News Radio’s Jon Decker has more from the White House:

Like most American homes, the White House has its share of fix-it projects. And with the First Family out of the Executive Mansion for more than two weeks, the support staff is quite busy taking care of some much-needed repairs.

Painters are touching up the exterior of the White House, gardeners are beautifying the grounds and grout work is also being done on the steps leading into the North Front entrance.

As for projects inside the White House, Presidential vacations are usually the time when electrical repairs and repainting takes place. So when the First Family returns from Martha’s Vineyard in 13 days, they’ll come back to a White House that’s cleaner, fresher and ready for the Fall.
