Country Music Legend Billy Sherrill Dies
A country music great passes on… Brad Paisley joins Blake Shelton on “The Voice” next season… and Thompson Square expands.

Country music lost a legendary writer and producer as Billy Sherrill died Tuesday. Sherrill was co-writer and producer for most of Tammy Wynette’s career. Together, the pair topped the country charts with 20 different songs, including the chart topping “Stand by Your Man”. He did the same for George Jones, producing “He Stopped Loving Her Today”. He was 78-years-old.
Brad Paisley is joining “The Voice” next season, serving as an adviser on Blake Shelton’s team.
And, Thompson Square is now a trio! The husband and wife team tweeted: “WE HAVE DECIDED NOT TO BE A DUO ANYMORE!!!!!!! #Jan2016 #WeDidIt #?BabyOnBoard”.?
