Confederate Flag Debate Continues

The outcry over the Confederate flag continues.

FOX News Radio’s Tonya J. Powers reports:

Many want to see the Confederate flag gone.

(Protester) “Take it down, take it down!”

South Carolina lawmakers are mulling a bill that would move the flag from the State House to a relic room in a museum.

But there are some who think it should remain.

(Flag Supporter) “I think it should stay up as something to remind us of where we came from and where we maybe don’t want to go back to.”

Meanwhile, Tennessee’s Governor says he supports removing the Confederate flag from license plates in the state, a move already started in Virginia.

An Alabama lawmaker also says that state should remove the flag from the Capitol grounds.

EBay, Walmart and others say they won’t sell any more Confederate gear.
