Freddie Gray Death Ruled A Homicide; Charges Filed
The death of Freddie Gray in police custody in Baltimore is ruled a homicide.
FOX News Radio’s Tonya J. Powers reports:
Baltimore city State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby says Freddie Gray’s death was caused while he was unrestrained during transport in a police van.
(Mosby) “The findings of our comprehensive, thorough and independent investigation, coupled with the Medical Examiner’s determination that Mr. Gray’s death was a homicide, which we received today, has led us to believe that we have probable cause to file criminal charges.”
Six officers face charges in Freddie Gray’s police-custody death. Those charges include second-degree murder, manslaughter, and assault.
