California Man Punches Bear
A California man takes on an intruder and wins.
FOX News Radio’s Chris Foster reports:
Carl Moore was a Marine, a boxer, and a bar bouncer in Texas.
He’s a 73-year-old contractor in Meadow Vista, California now…
(Moore) “I ain’t runnin’ from nothin’! I never have in my whole life and I ain’t gonna start now.”
That includes bears.
One tried to get over a gate, onto Mr. Moore’s deck…
(Moore) “He come up like this, and he turned… BOOM! I hit him hard!”
He says he was trying to protect his dogs and chickens… With three dozen of those eaten in the last three weeks.
Fish and Wildlife Rangers say the bear ran off somewhere, and that Moore could get a permit to kill it. But he says he doesn’t want to do that.
