Are men in U.S. special forces ready for women to join their ranks?

Surveys find men in elite combat roles do not believe women can meet the physical and mental demands of their commando jobs… and they also worry the Pentagon will lower standards.

Lea Gabrielle, a FOX News contributor and former Navy fighter pilot, says the survey findings raise a lot of questions…

(Gabrielle) “All the intangibles… whether or not it’s really going to work in a combat environment, and whether or not it’s really going to make our special forces stronger.” 

The studies are part of the Pentagon’s effort to open all military combat positions to women — or provide reasons why any jobs should remain closed.
