Two Police Officers Shot In Ferguson Protest [VIDEO]
Two Missouri police officers were shot during a protest in Ferguson.
FOX News Radio’s Tonya J. Powers has more:
It happened as protesters were gathered at the police department following the resignation of Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson.
A 32-year-old officer from Webster Groves was shot in the face and a St. Louis County police officer, who’s 41, was shot in the shoulder.
St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar thinks the officers were targeted.
(Belmar) “These police officers were standing there, and they were shot — just because they were police officers.”
Ferguson Chief Jackson is the sixth person to resign or be fired after a Department of Justice report that cleared officer Darren Wilson of civil rights charges in the shooting death of Michael Brown.
