One of Britain's biggest TV stars is facing an uncertain future -- over claims of assault.

FOX News Radio's Simon Owen reports from London.

Jeremy Clarkson hosts the BBC car show "Top Gear." It has 350 million viewers worldwide, including some in the U.S.

But, Clarkson is in trouble -- suspended by the BBC after allegedly punching a colleague.

Clarkson admitting regrets as he faced reporters. His suspension is a huge talking point here. 700,000 people have signed a petition calling for his reinstatement.

But, Clarkson has been in trouble before, facing claims of racism and the BBC is under pressure to punish him, despite his popularity.
