Harrison Ford Plane Crash [VIDEO]
Actor Harrison Ford is recovering after his small plane crashed in Los Angeles on Thursday.
FOX News Radio’s Tonya J. Powers has more:
He made the distress call, but the ‘Star Wars’ star didn’t make it back to the airport.�His vintage airplane is the worse for wear, but he’s expected to be okay.
Ford’s been flying for many years, and also helps in search and rescue efforts.�Christian Fry, with the Santa Monica Airport Association, says Ford’s reaction was exactly what an experienced pilot would do.
(Fry)�”Harry put this airplane down at the golf course, which is the perfect thing to do in a situation where you’ve lost power, which it appears what occurred here.”
He had a cut to his forehead, some broken bones and scraped arms… and, was helped by doctors that happened to be playing golf on the course.
