Kelly Clarkson delivers her latest piece by piece; Carrie Underwood just plain delivers ... and Frankie Ballard talks about his influences, and what's next for the new country artist.

FOX News Radio Entertainment Correspondent, Michelle Pollino has the scoop on the Country music stars making headlines this week:

FOX Country.

I'm Michelle Pollino.

"Piece by Piece" is the seventh studio album by Kelly Clarkson. This is the follow-up to her first Christmas album, "Wrapped in Red," and for the new mom -- it is her first studio album containing all "original" material, since "Stronger" was released in 2011. Its lead single from the album"Heartbeat Song," already became a top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Congratulations go out to Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Isaiah Michael, on February 27th. Carrie shared the big news on her Twitter account.

And, Frankie Ballard took time out of his "Anything Goes" tour with Florida Georgia Line and Thomas Rhett to talk to FOX about his influences.

(Ballard) "I put a ton of blues and rock n'roll. Bob Seger, John Mellencamp and lots of old school country music."

Ballard says his latest, "Young and Crazy" is the last single from the "Sunshine & Whiskey" album.

(Ballard) "Florida Georgia Line is going over to Europe for about a month, so we're going to jump into the studio and start recording very soon."
