Ringling Bros. Ending Elephant Acts By 2018

What was once a staple of the circus will soon be going away.

Elephants have always captured our attention at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, but they’re ending elephant shows come 2018 — after a 145 years.
The circus says it’s due to increasing concerns from the public over how the animals are treated.
Ringling operates a major elephant conservation facility in Florida.
