Hillary Clinton says she wants the public to see her emails.
FOX News Radio's Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington.
The former Secretary of State has asked the department to make her emails public. The Benghazi Select Committee has subpoenaed those messages, sent from her private account.
(Gowdy) "We're gonna gain access to them, or do our best to gain access to them."
Republican Chairman Trey Gowdy says the committee discovered Clinton's private account when they asked the State Department for her emails.
(Gowdy) "They can't produce all of her emails to us, because they don't have all of her emails."
The White House is deferring questions over whether Clinton broke the law to the State Department.
