Supreme Court Weighs Arguments Over Affordable Care Act Subsidies [VIDEO]
Will the U.S. Supreme Court throw a major wrench in the Affordable Care Act?
FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern has more outside the U.S. Supreme Court:
This is largely a question of letter of the law or intent of the law….
The Affordable Care Act provides tax subsidies for low and moderate income Americans to offset the price of insurance premiums.
But, this most recent challenge from opponents argue the law is written to provide credits only for state-run health plans, and should not be doled out to the eight million or so plans purchased through the federal exchange.
The administration argues the intent is clear, and subsidies should remain for all 50 states.
