Death with Dignity Advocate — Brittany Maynard Dies, Ends Own Life [VIDEO]

She became the public face of the right-to-die movement.

FOX News Radio’s Jane Metzler reports Brittany Maynard has died.

(Maynard) “I don’t want to die.”

She suffered from a terminal brain tumor which caused seizures; excruciating headaches.

(Maynard) “Moments where I’m looking at my husband’s face, and I can’t think of his name.”

Brittany Maynard moved to Oregon, because of the states’ Death With Dignity Law, going public with her decision to end her life on her own terms — November 1st. The world watched as she crossed items off her bucket list, including a helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon two weeks ago, which she ranked number one.

Saturday, she took a fatal dose of barbiturates prescribed by a doctor, ending her life at the age of 29.

(Maynard) “I  think until anyone has walked a mile in my shoes…”

She urged others to respect her decision, spread good energy, and pay it forward.
