FOX Wheels: GM Goes 4G, Creating Ultimate Tailgating Rides

FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso has the details in “Fox Wheels”:

It’s FOX Wheels. 

4G technology is coming to GM, in the company’s latest partnership with AT&T, making vehicles in 2015 WiFi hot spots, and potentially making you at your next tailgating party…

(Bell) “The boss of the parking lot, because you can connect up to seven different devices – to your WiFi. People won’t be using their own data plan and burning that.”

Spokesman James Bell says the 4G tech rolls out first on Chevy Colorado’s and GMC Canyon’s.

GM also partnering with EA Sports and the release of Madden 15.

(Bell) “You’re now looking at the ability to play a video game of football with your friends on the other side of the country. “

The X-box, TV and hot dogs not included.

Getting your oil changed every three months or three thousand miles is a thing of the past. At least for modern cars. Industry experts say check your owners manual before throwing your money away. Typical oil change intervals nowadays range from every five, at a minimum to fifteen thousand miles.
