President Obama Announces Plan To Fight Ebola
President Obama is getting a first hand briefing on the Ebola outbreak at the CDC headquarters in Atlanta.
FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern reports from Atlanta:
President Obama is here, at what he just called one of the crown jewels, as an Ebola outbreak continues to kill thousands in west Africa… an epidemic the U.S. will now play a much larger role in trying to contain.
The President says he’s ordering as many as 3,000 U.S. military personnel to that region to help coordinate international relief efforts.
Before flying here, President Obama met at the White House with Dr. Kent Brantly, a U.S. missionary successfully treated for Ebola at Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital.
