Old ideas and new ideas both on the jobs agenda this week.

FOX Business Network’s Cheryl Casone reports in “Hired”:

The company taking a “blackout week” three times a year, where everybody gets a paid vacation to relax and recharge.

Columbus Castings has been around for more than a century, providing steel products for railroads and other industries. They plan to hire 550 more workers in the next three years, including welders and skilled machinists.

TITLE Boxing Club is a fitness workout company focusing on boxing and kickboxing. They’ve got more than 500 jobs to fill before the end of the year. In membership sales and service, they need trainers; management positions as well.

Finally, Edible Arrangements creates premium fresh fruit packages. They’re creating one hundred new jobs right now, and more for the holidays. Management, customer service, fruit experts all needed, and a new position…”chief birthday officer!”
