FOX in the Fast Lane: NASCAR’s Back At The Brickyard
The Sprint Cup roars back this week as drivers race at the Crown Royal Presents the John Wayne Walding 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Jeff Gordon looking to repeat at the Brickyard and a “Guardian of the Galaxy” takes the wheel of the pace car.

This weekend drivers are hoping to add a win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway onto their resumes. For driver Kasey Kahne, who first stepped onto Indy’s track in 1999 at age 19 driving Sprint Cars, that sense of awe about the Brickyard never goes away…
(Kahne) “To me every time I go there it’s just, it’s such an awesome facility, you know and there’s so much history just driving into the place.”
Jeff Gordon won the very first Brickyard 400 in 1994 and believes this weekend he can win again because…
(Gordon) “The way that our cars are performing the way our engines are performing, Indianapolis, is a track that we can certainly win at.”
Gordon, a four time Brickyard winner, still holds the record as the youngest driver to ever win there at age 23.
And actor Chris Pratt, starring in the upcoming movie “Guardians of the Galaxy” will serve as honorary pace car driver this weekend at Indianapolis.
