Federal and state officials in Texas are still trying to figure out what to do with tens of thousands of migrant children from Central America attempting to cross the U.S. border from Mexico unaccompanied by family. Plans to relocate them have not been viewed favorably.

FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports:

Children arriving at the Texas border with Mexico are being held at various military bases as U.S. policy makers think of what to do with them. There is now belief their families in Central America are paying drug cartels to transport them– thinking the U.S. will allow them in.

Senator Cruz: “To have upwards of 90,000 kids in the care, so to speak, of violent drug dealers is tragic and heartbreaking.”

Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who says these drug gangs are brutalizing the children to extort more money from families.
