FOX In The Fast Lane: Party In The Poconos 400
NASCAR heads to Pennsylvania and the Pocono Raceway for this Sunday’s Sprint Cup race, the Party in the Poconos 400. Hollywood makes a stop at Pocono’s ‘Tricky Triangle’, Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse Junior go golfing and the Detroit Lions get a visit from Joey Logano.
FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh reports in this week’s “FOX in the Fast Lane”:
FOX In The Fast Lane.
Jimmie Johnson goes to Pocono this weekend looking for his third consecutive win this season and his crew chief Chad Knaus thinks their chances at the ‘Tricky Triangle’ are good because–
Knaus: “Pocono is one of my favorite race tracks. I think it’s a lot of fun. It’s very difficult.”
I spoke to Matt Kenseth, who explained why Pocono for him is a good track, but still a challenge–
Kenseth: “Pocono is a huge race track. We get a lot of top speed there. And then there’s a few, you know there’s only three corners there, so it’s um, it’s very unique. There’s nothing else like it.”
Danica Patrick made a pit stop this week in Memphis, Tennessee to cheer on boyfriend Ricky Stenhouse Junior as he took part in the St. Jude Classic Pro-Am golf tournament.
Joey Logano during a promo tour for this month’s Michigan race checked out Detroit football– visiting the Lions training camp.
And actors Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, will be this week’s Grand Marshals at Pocono.
