It’s off to the Monster Mile– Dover International Speedway for this Sunday’s Sprint Cup, the FedEx 400 Benefiting Autism Speaks. Tony Stewart gets back into a sprint car, the Coke 600 racks up in the TV ratings and Country superstar Luke Byran gets a special honor at Dover.

FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh reports in this week’s “FOX in the Fast Lane”:

FOX In The Fast Lane.

Jimmie Johnson says winning at Charlotte came exactly at the right time as he heads to one of his best tracks this weekend at Dover–

Johnson: “If we can take advantage of the next few tracks that are great tracks for us, that’d be great momentum.”

Johnson is looking for his ninth career win at the Monster Mile. But for Matt Kenseth— a two-time winner at Dover, winning here may not be easy because so far this season:

Kenseth: “We’ve just been off a couple of tenths. You know at all these tracks. And we’re digging hard to try and figure it out. We’re just not, just not quite there yet.”

Good news about last week’s Coca Cola 600. Nielsen ratings show it got seven million viewers. And, just ten months after breaking his leg while racing in a non-cup race in Iowa, Tony Stewart got behind the wheel of a sprint car this week. Posting pics on Twitter, Stewart said that driving the car was a huge day for him.

And country music star Luke Bryan will be the co-Grand Marshal for this week’s race at Dover.
