George Strait Wins Big at 2014 ACM Awards

A big night for Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban and George Strait at last night’s Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.

Miranda Lambert and Keith Urban teamed up to win top honors taking home three trophies Sunday night. But it was King George who won big with Entertainer of the Year.

(Strait) “I’ve always said I had the best fans in the world. I heard this was a fan voted thing so I rest my case.”

George Strait’s Entertainer of the Year award, his second 25-years apart and comes just months after Strait retires from the road.

Other winners include Jason Aldean for Male Vocalist. The Band Perry Best Vocal Group.
