Super Bowl 48 is in the books, and the Seattle Seahawks are the new champions of the NFL.

FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso was at the game and has this wrap up:

I don’t even think Vegas predicted the game could have gone down like this– with the Seattle Seahawks and the ‘legion of boom’ — the number one defense, crushing Peyton Manning and the Broncos number one offense, 43 to 8.

Sherman: “It took the linebackers doing a great job droppin’, it took the d-line doing a great job gettin’ the rush. And it took us in the back end, holding up all day.”

Fans: (cheering) “I can’t believe this is happening.”

Seattle fans waited decades and now have their very first Lombardi Trophy in franchise history.
