Winter Storm Threatens Northeast
Some areas of the Northeast could get over a foot of snow from a storm that’s now blanketing the Midwest.
FOX News Radio’s Jennifer Keiper reports from Chicago:
We’ve had to learn how to drive in snow, again. At least seven inches in much of the Chicago area and on this downtown street. It was slow going, but the plows have now been through so it’s just a sloppy mess.
Numerous spin-outs and accidents though from southeastern Wisconsin…To southwestern Michigan. Snow totals are closer to a foot along the Illinois/Wisconsin line and near Paw Paw, Michigan.
If you’re trying to fly east, it’ll be difficult. A thousand flights already canceled today from here in Chicago to Newark as the storm heads to the northeast.
