Legal marijuana sales began January 1, 2014 in Colorado and there's already high demand.
FOX Business Network's Adam Shapiro reports on the progress from Denver:
Here in Denver at Medicine Man, 650 people lined up yesterday to buy marijuana legally -- a third of them, according to the store's owner, from out of state. Colorado residents can buy an ounce of marijuana, out-of-state residents can only buy a quarter-ounce. That ounce will run you roughly $400 -- that includes taxes which in Denver, state and city taxes on that ounce run roughly 33%. It's expected to raise nearly $70 million for the state of Colorado in 2014.
