Amazon is developing a delivery drone.
FOX News Radio's Sal Giangrasso reports:
FOX on Tech.
How's this for quick and easy? Amazon.com is working up a system in which they can take your order and deliver it in 30 minutes or less, using a drone. It's a new type of unmanned aircraft called an 'Octocopter' which can carry packages weighing up to five pounds-- and that includes about 85% of what Amazon sells. And it's not that far into the future-- maybe four or five years as Amazon works on the required technology and federal aviation rules and regulations are created.
