The man called “America’s Preacher” turned 95 in style Thursday night. Celebrating the milestone at a big bash in Asheville, North Carolina.
FOX News Radio’s Steve Knight reports:
(Happy birthday to you) About 900 people packed into a hotel ballroom to honor the life and the message delivered for more than seven decades by the Reverend Billy Graham:
Graham: “I want to thank you for all you have meant to me, through all these years. God bless you and love you.” (applause)
Graham, who now uses a wheelchair, didn’t make a speech. But, when he spoke with Fox’s Sean Hannity back in 2005:
Graham: “I want them to remember me that I was faithful. Faithful to the Gospel. Faithful to the call that God gave me and when I get to heaven I’m going to ask him why he called me.”
