VIRAL VIDEOS: Week of August 9th

Here’s what’s going viral now on Facebook.

“Mumford & Sons – Hopeless Wanderer.”

The indie rock group spoofs itself in its latest music video starring Jason Sudeikis, Ed Helms, Jason Bateman and Will Forte.  Wearing hipster clothes and fake beards, the comedian quartet jam out on folk instruments, playfully mocking the popular band.

Then, there’s this:

“Breaking Bad: The Middle School Musical.”

YouTube sensations Rhett and Link are the visionaries behind this parody of AMC’s Breaking Bad converted into a middle school musical.  The clip features a group of talented tweens singing their way through the first five seasons of the show, with a few age appropriate revisions.

And, Facebook users are hitting the “like” button on:

“Football on Your Phone – Manning Brothers Music Video.”

This ad for DIRECTV’s Sunday Ticket NFL package starring Peyton and Eli Manning is a viral video touchdown.  The pro-athlete brothers go all out… wearing outrageous costumes and wigs, while rapping about the “wow” factor of watching football on mobile devices.
