FOX in the Fast Lane: Cheez-It 355 (Watkins Glen)

FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh previews the race:
FOX in the Fast Lane.
The Sprint Cup is in Watkins Glen this weekend and for driver Juan Pablo Montoya…
(Montoya) “I think this weekend for us is really, really important.”
Montoya is winless so far this season and knows a victory at the Glen could…
(Montoya) “Change the season around and, you know, to be honest with you that’s the perfect opportunity to do it.”
Driver Tony Stewart will have to watch this week’s race from the hospital, recovering from surgery to repair a broken leg he sustained after a crash at a Sprint Car race in Iowa.
Filling in for Stewart, road course expert, Max Papis.
(Papis) “I felt that if they needed my help, you know, I was here and I was available and I know I have the confidence and the ability to go out there and do the best for the them.”
And what about the rest of the season? Greg Zipadelli, Director of Competition for Stewart-Haas racing would only say:
(Zipadelli) “We’ve got a few candidates and we’re talking to a few people. We’ve had a lot of people that have obviously reached out.”
