NJ Infant Dies in Freak Bus Accident
A bus driver is charged in New Jersey in a freak accident that killed a baby.
FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso reports:
The Hudson County Sheriff’s Department says the driver lost control of his bus Tuesday in West New York, New Jersey and struck a lamppost. That lamppost then fell onto a baby stroller and an eight-month-old girl.
(Witness) “The baby was bleeding from the cranium, pretty much, from the head. It was not responding.”
(Sheriff) “The infant passed in the ambulance on the way to the Jersey City Medical Center.”
A make shift memorial with flowers continues to grow at the crash scene.
48-year-old Idowu Daramola is charged with reckless driving and death by auto. As questions loom over whether he was texting or talking on his cell phone at the time of the crash.
