Zimmerman Rescues Family In Vehicle Accident
Police in Florida say George Zimmerman, the man at the center of the Trayvon Martin shooting controversy, came to the aid of a family involved in a highway motor vehicle accident.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports from Miami:
Deputies in Seminole, County Florida say when they pulled up to the scene of an overturned SUV, they found George Zimmerman already there, helping to rescue the family of four inside. His attorney, Mark O’Mara:
O’Mara: “I wasn’t surprised at all. The timing was sort of unique, but the idea he would stop and help somebody out is that George Zimmerman who I’ve known.”
Zimmerman continues to live in hiding though, as he and his family are the subject of countless online threats against their lives. He was acquitted last week of murder in the Trayvon Martin shooting.
