Actor Dennis Farina, of "Law and Order" fame, has died.
FOX News Radio's Sabrina Sabbagh reports:
Before he was an actor, Dennis Farina was a Chicago police officer for 18 years. But once he got into the business, the roles kept coming...
("Law and Order") "It's too coincidental to be a coincidence."
Often typecast as a mobster or a police officer, Farina starred as Detective Joe Fontana on "Law and Order". He was also known for his film work, like playing mobster Jimmy Serrano in the comedy, "Midnight Run" and Ray Barboni in "Get Shorty".
("Get Shorty") "I'm gonna ask ya one more time, then I'm gonna shoot ya. Where's my money?"
Most recently, Farina appeared in HBO's series "Luck" and guest starred on the FOX show, "New Girl". He was 69.
