Erin Brockovich Arrested

A well known attorney and environmental activist has been arrested, accused of boating while intoxicated.

FOX News Radio’s Pam Puso reports:

Her legal fight over a polluted water supply was made famous in a movie starring Julia Roberts.

(“Erin Brockovich”) “Anything less than that is a waste of our time.”

Now, Erin Brockovich is making waves again, but this time she is the focus of legal action, accused of boating while intoxicated over the weekend at Lake Mead near Las Vegas.

A breathalyzer test showing her blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit. The 52-year-old apologized in a statement while maintaining she didn’t pilot the boat in open waters, just moved it within its slip.

She added that after a day in the sun and nothing to eat, a couple of drinks had a greater impact than she realized.
