Airlines Increase Cost To Change Flights
The cost to change your mind about flying is going up.
FOX News Radio’s Ron Flatter reports:
Changing the time you catch a train or a bus? That’s one thing. But an airplane?
That’s becoming another expensive thing.
Without any fanfare, US Airways raised the cost to change a ticket in advance from $150 to $200. Matching what United did last week. On its website US Air also says changing an international ticket will now cost $300. And if the new flight has a higher fare that will be added too.
The only major airline that does not charge to change a ticket? Southwest.
