Study: Smartphones Don’t Help You Live Longer

Smartphones

Could your smartphone kill you?  Maybe.  A new study says it certainly isn’t going to help you live longer.

Smartphones

New research suggests that spending too much time paying attention to a digital screen is harmful to your health.  The New York Times reports that a new study finds that interacting with people improves nerves that lead to a healthy heart.  Reduced contact with other people does just the opposite.  It’s all because of the body’s major nerve that connects the brain and the heart.

The research is to be published in the journal Psychological Science.
