Housecall for Health: Examining The Fasting Diet

Fast Diet

The fasting diet may be the newest trend in weight loss, but nutritionists are warning it could be dangerous to your health.

FOX’s Colleen Cappon reports in today’s “Housecall for Health”:

The latest diet fad is based on fasting to lose weight, but nutritionists say it’s a bad idea. The fast diet is already a hit in England and is based on fasting two days a week: 500 calories for women and 600 for men. And no food restrictions the remaining days. Diet experts say although cutting calories does cause weight loss, the trend could result in unhealthy eating habits and won’t produce long term results.
