Oil From BP Spill Unearthed By Isaac
Test results in Louisiana confirm the source of oil washed ashore by Hurricane Isaac.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports:
Researchers from Louisiana State University say tar mats and tar balls, flung out of the sea by Hurricane Isaac and landing on vacation spots like Elmer’s Island and Grand Isle are confirmed to be from BP’s Macondo well, the source of the 2010 oil spill in the Gulf. BP asserted this yesterday and is assisting with cleanup. The oil is not newly spilled. Coast Guard officials confirmed two years ago that well was properly sealed.
