AEHQ: What Does the Future Hold for Gingrich?

After a weekend when Mitt Romney added a little to his delegate lead – with Rick Santorum solidifying himself in second place – where does Newt Gingrich see himself going into Tuesday’s contests?

FOX News Radio’s Chris Foster reports from America’s Election Headquarters in New York:

From America’s Election Headquarters…

His only wins so far in the South: South Carolina and his home state, Georgia.  Now, Newt Gingrich, putting a lot of work into Alabama and Mississippi.

(Gingrich) “I think we’ll win both.  We’re campaigning very aggressively in both states.”

…Gingrich, on FOX News Sunday.  Rick Santorum, also campaigning hard in those states, saying as far as Gingrich dropping out goes…

(Santorum) “I think that the better opportunity to make sure that we nominate a conservative is to give us an opportunity to go head-to-head with Governor Romney at some point.  And, hopefully, that will occur sooner rather than later, but we’ll wait and see what the Speaker decides.”

…Santorum on “Meet the Press.”
