Patients are turning to tattoos to inform Doctors of allergies and medical conditions.

Getting 'inked' has long been a permanent way for people to express themselves. But now, some are relying on tattoos for medical reasons. Medical tattoos can warn first responders about health conditions, like allergies or chronic diseases, and even end of life wishes. Although the American Medical Association doesn't address medical tattoos, many Doctors say they're becoming so popular, they should be included in the Association's guidelines.
