Childhood obesity continues to be on the rise, but there are many way parents can get their kids moving to prevent weight gain.

Exercise Physiologist Felicia Stohler says athletics can be a challenge and many schools don’t provide the recommended amount of physical activity.  Getting outdoors with activities like hiking or skiing can make exercise seem like less of a chore.  Or think outside the box and take up dancing – dance games with motion sensors can be played right in the living room and get both kids and their parents moving.
