FDA Toothbrush Warning
The Food and Drug Administration is issuing a warning about using certain toothbrushes.
FOX News Radio’s Dave Anthony reports:
Some Dentists recommend using electric toothbrushes for a better cleaning. But, the FDA has issued a warning about using the Arm & Hammer Spinbrush; saying parts have broken off, breaking or chipping teeth, cutting gums, flying into people’s eyes, and causing a choking hazard. The company says it has made improvements to the Spinbrush including bristles that change colors when it’s time to replace them. The FDA recommends replacing brush heads every three months, saying using them longer increases the risk of breakage.
