Congress Raises Red Flag on Inhalable Caffeine

Need a jolt, but not into coffee, soda or energy drinks?  There’s a solution for it, but there are concerns in Congress about an inhalable caffeine.

FOX News Radio’s Lisa Brady reports:

It’s called Aero-Shot.  It shoots puffs of caffeine into the mouth, and it does come with a warning label: no more than three of the lipstick-sized tubes per day.  Each one, about equivalent to a large cup of coffee.

But New York Senator Charles Schumer wants the FDA to investigate, worried it could be abused as a “club drug.”  It’s made in France for a company in Massachusetts, where it hit the market last month, also sold in New York, in France and online.
