The NFL Under Pressure To Start HGH Testing

The NFL Players Association is facing pressure from Capitol Hill to start testing its athletes for use of Human Growth Hormone, also known as HGH.

FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern reports from Washington DC:

The National Football League and the Players Association agreed in August to start testing for Human Growth Hormones; a performance enhancing drug banned throughout the sports world.  But, Senator John McCain says the Players Association is backing out of that deal.  Now, the Arizona Republican is asking the Senate Commerce Committee to investigate.  The Players Association is asking for more scientific data to ensure tests are reliable.
