Housecall For Health: The Truth About Naps
Is naptime a good or bad idea?
FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh has the answer in today’s edition of Housecall for Health:
Taking an afternoon nap may seem like a refreshing idea, but believe it or not there are some people who just won’t benefit from it. The good news is naps boost memory function and lower blood pressure. But sleep disorder researchers say insomniacs or those suffering from jet lag should not take a nap. They say it could contribute to a lack of sleep at night. If you always feel sleepy during the day, it may be a sign of sleep apnea and a nap won’t help.
