The Year’s Top Google Searches

One of the many year-end lists coming out now was determined with more than a few clicks of a computer mouse.

FOX News Radio’s Ron Flatter reports on the top Google searches of the year:

Google calls it the Zeitgeist list.

Wiley: ” These are terms that people are searching for that have seen a huge change from one year to the next.”

When it came to images, number one was planking. That fad where people photographed themselves lying flat almost anywhere.

When it came to just plain searches:

(Music) Rebecca Black’s “Friday”

Singer Rebecca Black came out on top.

Wiley: “She came out of nowhere and lots of people are trying to figure out you know, what’s her story?”

She was also in the top ten among rising image searches.

Also showing up on both lists:

The late Jackass star Ryan Dunn and Casey Anthony, who was found not guilty of killing her daughter.
