Housecall for Health: Tips For a Healthy Holiday Season
The holidays are rapidly approaching, and so are plans to put into action any goals of self-control when it comes to eating.
FOX’s Colleen Cappon has some tips for success in today’s “Housecall for Health”:
Time for some holiday health tips: it’s possible to be realistic about indulging.
-First, don’t skip meals. Studies show it only leads to eating more than you planned.
-Don’t eat relatives’ treats for fear of hurting their feelings. It will cause you more guilt when you step on the scale in January.
-And lastly, don’t be too hard on yourself. If you overeat or skip the gym, you won’t instantly gain 10 pounds.
We’ll have more health tips throughout the holiday season.
