AEHQ: What Would They Do? National Security – Romney

Mitt Romney’s stand on national security is long on power and short on contrition.

FOX News Radio’s Rich Johnson has details in our FOX News Radio special election series, “What Would They Do?”:

From America’s Election Headquarters…

(Romney) “If you do not want America to be the strongest nation on Earth, I’m not your President.”

Mitt Romney, outlining his vision of U.S. military leadership in the world.

(Romney) “America is not destined to be one of several equally-balanced global powers.  America must lead the world, or someone else will.”

Romney’s strategy: clarity to both our friends and enemies about where we stand.  For example, he says it’s unacceptable for Iran to possess nuclear weapons, and he promises to park U.S. aircraft carriers in the eastern Mediterranean and the Persian Gulf to make that point to Tehran.

(Romney) “America leads the free world, and the free world leads the entire world.”
