Fugitive Dad Charged With Tossing Daughter in Creek Caught in CA

A New Jersey father, charged with murder for tossing his daughter – strapped in her car seat – off an overpass into a creek, drowning her, has been caught nearly 4,000 miles away after a cross-country manhunt.

FOX News Radio’s Joy Piazza reports:

The search is over for Arthur Morgan III, who was wanted for killing his 2-year-old daughter by throwing her off a bridge in New Jersey.  Tierra Morgan was still strapped in her car seat when teenagers spotted the body last week.  It was a death that shook communities up and down the central New Jersey coastline.

(Neighbor) “She was very sweet, a very sweet girl.  Always smiling and laughing.  It’s sad.”

Morgan was arrested in San Diego after U.S. Marshals got a tip that he might have been staying with friends.
