FOX in the Fast Lane: FedEx 400 Benefiting “Autism Speaks” (Dover)

It’s time to face the “Monster Mile” at the Dover International Speedway for the FedEx 400 Benefiting “Autism Speaks.”  Meanwhile, Treavor Bayne is in recovery mode, and NASCAR is penalizing two of the boys for “having at it.”

FOX News Radio’s Marghiee “Trackside” Teshineh has the latest edition of “FOX in the Fast Lane”…

WHOSE AFRAID OF THE MONSTER MILE AT DOVER?  NOT RYAN NEWMAN!

(IT’S FAST, IT’S DEMANDING… I LIKE THE BANKED RACE TRACKS AND IT’S ONE OF THOSE)

JIMMIE JOHNSON SAYS HE DOES WELL AT DOVER BECAUSE HE UNDERSTANDS THIS…

(I THINK IT’S A TRACK THAT REALLY SUITS MY STYLE AND THE STATS SHOW THAT. THERE IS A CERTAIN RHYTHM THERE THAT YOU HAVE TO BE COMFORTABLE WITH; TYPICALLY A LOOSE RACE CAR INTO THE CORNER.)

NASCAR SLAPPED KYLE BUSCH AND KEVIN HARVICK EACH WITH A $25,000 FINE AFTER THE RACE AT DARLINGTON WHEN HARVICK TRIED TO TAKE A SWING AT BUSCH IN PIT ROAD  BECAUSE OF CONTACT BUSCH MADE WITH HARVICK’S CAR RESULTING IN A WRECK.  BOTH DRIVERS ARE ALSO ON PROBATION UNTIL JUNE 15TH.

AND TREVOR BAYNE’S NOT RACING THIS WEEK AT DOVER.  BAYNE SPENDING A WEEK AT THE MAYO CLINIC UNDERGOING TREATMENT FOR WHAT DOCTORS HAVE CALLED AN INFLAMMATORY CONDITION. ROUSH FENWAY PRESIDENT STEVE NEWMARK SAYS  BAYNE IS IMPROVING BUT IS BEING CAUTIOUS BY HIM HOLDING BACK ONE MORE WEEK.
