Florida Gov. Takes a Stance on ‘Radical Islam’

Florida’s Governor is again saying the U.S. is not doing enough to contain the threat of radical Jihadists, in the wake of the Orlando nightclub shooting attack, which is believed to have had radical Islamic motivations.

FOX’s Eben Brown reports from Orlando:

In the midst of the gun debate being renewed in the wake of the Orlando terror attack, which left 49 people inside a nightclub dead, Florida Governor Rick Scott says more must be done to stop the spread of “radical Islam” and its reach:

(Scott) ”It’s disgusting. I’m fed up with it. They attacked our gay community, our Hispanic community. We are a wonderful melting pot, this state is. And evil is impacting our entire fabric of this country and it’s impacted my citizens. This has to stop.”

Shooter Omar Mateen had previously been under investigation for supposed Jihadist statements, but was still allowed to purchase firearms.
